I had zero resources. This video saved my life. Thank you so much for making the application process that much easier. Your 7 minute video saved me weeks of searching.

Thanks so much, our high school counselors on the non-CC end of our dual partnership really needed this.

I am an out-of-state student in Georgia. I took multivariable calculus and linear algebra during my 11th-grade year at the Georgia Institute of technology by dual enrollment. Would these courses count as UC-approved courses? in other words, would these courses affect my UC GPA?

please answer :) thank you

Hi Kevin, if your courses are UC transferable, they will be calculated into your UC GPA! Unfortunately, we do not have articulation agreements with colleges or universities outside the California Community College system so there is no way for us to guarantee which courses will transfer to UC since we do not provide pre-evaluation of transcripts. The Guide to Course Transferability is the best resource we have that explains in detail what we look for in transferable units: admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/sites/default/files/2020-09/Guide_to_Course_Transferability.pdf With that being said, we will not know exactly what courses will transfer until we evaluate official transcripts after admission to our university.

If I took all dual enrollment classes for 11th grade, do I write down the college courses in the high school (11th and 12th grade) sections then repeat it for the college courses section? If i didn't do that then the only class listed underneath 11th grade would be a language class for me, is that ok if I leave a note at the end?

Hello! You will need to report it in the college section. You can leave an explanation in the additional comments section of the Academic History portion.

so i’m currently taking a dual class rn and i want to take one next semester however the list of classes aren’t out yet for next semester so i’m not sure if i’ll be able to get in or not. Am I still able to put I end the college academic year in 2023? Or would i have to put I end the college academic year in december 2022( the month that my current dual class will end) because what happens if I do end up taking a spring dual class?

Hello! You will want to report any courses you are planning to take. If you end up not taking a specific class or there is a change in your course schedule, you may notify us if you receive an offer of admission to UCSB about the change on your transcript.

how will a Withdraw affect admissions and are all dual enrollment classes necessary to submit?

Hello! We need a bit more context to answer this question. Please send us an email at ucsb4me@sa.ucsb.edu.

I have taken courses since 11th grade (dual enrollment) so my 11th and 12th-grade high school section is blank because all of that coursework is in the college course section. The application alerts me about this unfilled section. Can I just select the option to dismiss it?

same, pls answer

Hello Aruna! As long as you have reported all of your academics as accurately as possible, you can dismiss that notification. You can also tell us in the Additional Comments section why there is "missing" coursework for those last years in high school.

if i am out of state, do my dual enrollment courses count as NH or CL? would a class like US history used to fulfill my HS credits be NH and a class like linear algebra be CL? I'm a little confused, any help would be appreciated :) Thank you!
@UCSB4Me2 жыл бұрын
Hello Jiya, any dual enrollment courses can be labeled as CL as they are college-level courses. If you have any further questions, please email ucsb4me@sa.ucsb.edu!

If I have taken semester courses throughout my high school career, do I need to insert all terms such as fall, winter, spring and summer? We only go by semester terms not the seasons.
@mariamrtnez2 жыл бұрын
For example one course lasts August through December and the next lasts from January through May. What would I choose?
@UCSB4Me2 жыл бұрын
@@mariamrtnez Hello! You want to report those courses as how they would show up on an official transcript.
