UC Davis Strawberry Breeding Program

So much history has led us to this moment. The Strawberry Breeding Program, dating back to the 1930's, are releasing five new strawberry varieties that are resistant to the soilborne disease Fusarium wilt, have high yields and improved fruit quality.

this morning I was eating some strawberries, they had a very well defined connection to the seeds from the center, very fibrous, kinda like watermelon, I was wondering if that's a specific variety or shows up in late season?

yeah this is very coo....l I love me some pseudocarps... a very fancy stem for fruiting bodies in a matrix... that what I want is really see you guys do is plump them up I want to see a strawberry as big as a watermelon...😆👍

Printaboul = Gaëtan Dupont I want to collect little wood strawberry pollen. Is the pollen contained in the anther? when is the optimum time to collect this pollen? If the pollen is contained in the anther, and one collect the anther, will the pollen be good if one breaks those anthers to liberate it or, does it has to get out by himself? I want to cross the little wood straberry with a garden varieties that I have. Thanks in advance.

Не получится . У лесной 14 хромосом У садовой же 56 7+28 = 35 А должно быть четное число . Одна лишняя хромосома .

They don't really cross. I have tried a few times and it doesn't work.
