don't be fooled by the score BYU smacked UCF game wasn't as close as the score when BYU wanted to ram it down their throat and pass they could do it at will.And when you can't pass on offense you're playing one dimensional football and defenses will tee off on that stack the box.

We were destined to lose this game from the get-go for one. 11th in the nation vs us? No chance. Anyone complaining about coaching or whathaveyou doesn't understand the difficulty jump that was joining the big 12. Winning against TCU earlier was a miracle. The fact of the matter is that we haven't gotten any boost money-wise for being in the big 12 yet. All that funding kicks in next year. We will be the underdogs in this conference for a long while and there's only so much coaching can do to mitigate that.

You played Iowa State very tough, so there is that.

The taunting flag was so dumb on his part, I’m sure he felt cool causing his team to settle for a field goal then BYU marched down the field with :59 seconds and scored a TD

The change needed is the Hc. Period. It’s awful in all phases for 2 yrs and he didn’t exactly see world on fire in aac either. He’s had issues for 7-8 yrs in a row as a coach

I’m shocked Scott Frost hasn’t gotten a call yet. You have a former “national championship” HC basically as a random coach for the Rams who would take the job in a heartbeat. Just bring him back and go from there.

Two straight seasons with 5 game slides. We are getting progressively worse each year. This man needs to step away from football.

Are the five-game loosing streaks the only change from three seasons ago? Might the fact UCF joined the Big XII last season have something to do with those losing streaks? For UCF and the three teams that came into the Big XII at the same time, the Big XII was a step up in level of competition. UCF's starting team is a match for most of the Big XII. The problem for UCF is it lacks the depth of other Big XII schools. There is too much of drop in performance when the two's and three's are on the field. The other three schools how joined with UCF had the same lack of depth issue. As a season progresses and injuries mount, UCF's lack of depth starts to show. The same was true for the other schools, too. It takes time to build depth.
@magicsam82472 ай бұрын
@@DKWalseralthough this maybe true, it is more so an excuse. Yes there is a step up in comp, however if you watch the games it is clear that this is more of a coaching issue than a depth issue.

Tell us how you're going to fix this. Week in week out, it's been the same blah blah blah. Starting to feel sorry for the seniors who have to leave on a low note.

UCF has just had a string of hard games. ISU followed by BYU. That’s brutal. I don’t blame the coach at all. The QB in at the end for UCF was fire!! The biggest thing hurting QBs play over the last decades in collage and NFL is that running and evading sacks is prioritized over reading defenses and decision making. Cam Newton is the poster child of mobile QB and he sucks. Teams need to find their Tom, Payton, Favre, Eli, etc. Go with the QB in at the end for UCF!!

He not answering none of the damn questions man get him out and new coaches so we can start winning . It’s the play calling that makes the game

3-0 at the start of the last two seasons is not reflective of the true identity of the team. Typically, the first 3 games are against FCS or lower profile FBS teams. Mid-season is when you play quality teams, and it's obvious UCF is not a program that can compete
@geraldbyrne21462 ай бұрын
It's sad when there's so much talent on the team, and the problem is with the system. Gus' system only works if you have a true dual threat QB, who is a great passer of the ball. Imagine the game that RJ and/or the QB could have running the ball if defenses respected the passing game. Instead of starting the best running QB, and trying to develop the passing game, how about starting the greatest passing threat. All of UCF's QB can run the ball if needed. I'm not claiming that it's easy to coach FBS football, but my God, last night's game proved that the greatest passing threat has been on the bench all season. Time to start Dylan Rizk at QB. He looked calm. He is decisive, and gets the ball out quickly. His passes are crisp and generally accurate, and he proved he can run the ball as well. EJ Colson may have a great future at UCF, but they should consider a redshirt for him, and play Dylan the remainder of the season. If Gus starts JB next weekend, then it's time to make a coaching change.

3-and-out after 3-and-out on offense. 3rd down after 3rd down, short and long, converted by the opponent. Stupid clock management. Poor coverage and tackling. Lack of overall preparation. Down in an early hole. Opponent had the ball for 40 minutes. Ran off 3 QB who can throw for multiple athletes who play QB but aren't QBs. Rinse and repeat, week after week after week. The wheels fell off for Short-Bus Gus. The experiment is over. The AD needs to negotiate a buyout for this clown.

Gus and staff need to go. Stop the insanity. We didn’t have good coaching today. Blah, blah , blah. He thinks if he can win 3 more games to get to a bowl will save his job. Mediocrity is not the answer.
