Hopefully, he has put down the bottle. His biggest problem at Nebraska was spending too much time self medicating. I was super excited to have Frost come to Nebraska but it didn't work out. Hopefully this works better for him.

Coach Frost, "I LOVE YOU!!!!!!", Thank you for coming back to Coaching, NOT just any team, but the UCF KNIGHTS!!!!!. I am so extremely proud of you, I am a 69-year-old man, and I tell you what, I have loved being a Nebraska fan in the past, especially the years from 1962 to 1997. You were one of the best quarterbacks that Nebraska ever had and I am really truly looking forward to watching you Coach and transform the UCF Knights into the football team that the Nebraska Cornhuskers use to be, the National Champions of football. Because you will be coaching the Knights my love for football is going to be restored to how I use to feel about the Nebraska Cornhuskers!!!! I still enjoy the Nebraska Cornhuskers but until the CFB colligate Athletic Committee gets themselves straightened out with how College Football use to be played, for the Sport of football and not the money, you are and I am sure and confident that the UCF Knights will become the power house that Nebraska football use to be, ssssooooooo many years ago, now 28 year!! Thank you for what you have been through over the last 12 years or so, and don't forget, Proverbs 3:5-6!!! God has His reasons for letting us go through those "TOUGH" years, and that is to make us stronger than we ever were before in order to serve our God much better and wiser!!!! Mrs. Frost, thankyou once again for your willingness to share your family with us and for allowing your husband to bring great moments of football sports back into our lives!!!!! God Bless, Ronald Littlejohn

It wouldn’t been nice to see him take some accountability for his major shortcomings at Nebraska instead of saying “there was a lot of pressure” and “I was taking a lot of bullets when things weren’t going well.” Weak leadership, a central theme through his whole tenure at Nebraska.

Usually these conference are an opportunity for a new coach to come in, be excited and get recruits excited to come to their college. I don’t think he said anything here that would sell a recruit to come to UCF or get them excited about it. Just a lot of platitudes, and monotone rambling.

It's not going to work. He's already behind. Early signing day was last week and 1st portal window opened today. Good luck.

surprised not a single reported asked what he learned at his 5 years coaching Nebraska with a school that has incredible history, tradition, past success with 5 national championships, facilities, funding, fan support and about all a coach could ask for - someone should have asked what went wrong there when you had 5 years to do as you wanted?

The dude couldn’t hack it in the B1G and he wont be able to hack it in the Big 12. He got lucky in a Group of 5 conference with a majority of the team being George O’Leary’s recruits.

@@The_G_89 of the 5 years he was at Nebraska, 2 were obstructed by COVID-19 limiting contact with players and recruits. I’m sure you accounted for that with your expertise

@@THEPOSSUMNUTS That’s a stupid excuse because, in his first season, he went 0-6 in the first 6 games. Lost to Troy as well during that stretch. He’s never had a better record than 4-8 even before COVID.
