Mesen-S is by far my favorite because it supports most of the 8 and 16-bit retro systems you would want to emulate, and there's even more advanced options like refresh rates as high 240 Hz(and it actually works).

Retroarch is not an emulator though. It doesn't emulate any games. It's just a GUI. The point of it is to give you an universal interface across many emulators.

i tried nestopia for the first time, as i remember from original nes looks pretty much most accurate with composite or s-video and scanlines, still need to play with some settings a little, but awesome, thanks man :)

FCEUX and BizHawk unforunately has some weird emulation issue, such as Lot Lot, they two couldn’t play this game music’s noise drum, but other emulator could.

@@ShandellJames I mean it supports the iNES 2.0 mappers, which very little emulators support. One criticism is that it's not as good as FCEUX and Nestopia, performance wise. But solid for debug and playing obscure games.

I have been trying to make the fast forward button in nestopia work as a switch, but it only works when I´m pressing the button, does someone know if that can be changed?

This is just my opinion: I think if the game hasn’t been available for sale for 30 years, it’s hard to argue you are stealing when your only option is to purchase a second hand copy. That said, with Nintendo Switch Online, I would definitely cross check the catalog!

First you download the emulator, then find a ROM for the game you want to play. Load the ROM in the emulator and you can play the game.

this lists SUCK, retroarch is not an emulator it's a platform that hosts emulators, you can get to install nestopia mesen and quicknes from retroarch, and the Number 1 pic is bunkers to me: it gets laggy but is not a big deal, yeah i guess the video is named Top 5 nes emulators not the top 5 best emulators
