I'm the youngest brother in my family and when I see Itachi, he somehow always reminds me of my older brother :o. Even tho he always tried to back off from me (because you know younger brothers do look up to their older brothers) and as a kid he was always so kind (pretty cool too) and sometimes would play but kinda rarely tho, but I somehow always understood his feelings which made me also respect him.

It's a no brainer that Itachi is without a doubt the best older brother in the entire history of media. I've seen dozens of shows, read lots of books, and watched quite a bit of anime yet no one compares to him and what he's done. I may not be a Naruto fan but I am damn sure that Itachi is one of the greatest anime characters ever.

@@gretawilliams8799 I don't know what Lelouch did, but I know for sure that Itachi was hated and hunted by the entire world being branded as a rouge and an Akatsuki. And letting his brother live is exactly one of the two motivations why he needed to do what he did. Also, though it took almost a decade from the massacre before Itachi died, he already knew on that night that he is as good as dead. He just needed to make sure his brother gets stronger first before giving Sasuke the glory of killing him. And despite the suffering that he endured all his life, he was willing to fade and be remembered as a monster just to protect Konoha and Sasuke. If that doesn't spell sacrifice for you, I don't know what will. I believe that Itachi is still the best.

I always hate it when people make Itachi out as some heartless character. Cause he's not. He loved his brother so much he literally threw away his life for him. He did everything to protect Sasuke. Honestly one of the best characters in this entire series. I love him and can't stand it when people insult him. And you made an AMV that really honors him. hinatakisa Yeah,that's the side of him I love most and what,in my opinion,makes him such a great character and frankly I always focus on a much deeper understanding of a story in my videos,it's not just "this looks badass,let's add the scene in"For me it's a whole process of if/why/how it fits in with everything else ^_^ Most of my videos aren't as straightforward as they might seem,If you take a look deep down and try to understand beyond the obvious you'll find a compelling message(especially in my SNK amv) sadly,most people don't do that and take what is on screen very literal...I'm going way too off topic here so I guess I should stop now XDI'm glad you liked it and thank you for taking the time to leave a great comment like this ^_^ I appreciate the kind words!

hinatakisa To be fair it was a -long- time revealing all this about Itachi. And showing what was meant to be a completely shocking heel face turn with all that he was suffering and doing for his brother. People were meant to hate Itachi and for good reason; before it was all revealed.

I absolutely love this video. It truly shows the spirit of Itachi and just how much of a good man he really is. In my opinion, Itachi is the most selfless person ever created for an anime. He sacrificed everything that he was in order to make sure his brother and the future generations didn't subject to war and pain. While the fourth war did come to pass, he managed to give the village a chance to get stronger and inadvertedly managed to unite the shinobi nations. Seriously, he is on par with Future Trunks of DBZ. We'll always love you Itachi!

Just now I was watching an episode where Madara explains to Sasuke the truth about Itachi. After 3 years, I'm watching this episode again, but I'm perhaps crying more than before. I remembered this video, so it occurred to me that I would watch it symbolically after this episode and I couldn't stop crying. Itachi is my favorite character and it's hard to say goodbye to him. In my opinion, Itachi sacrificed the most to protect his brother and the village. For me, Itachi is a real hero.

I shared this on Facebook. It made my friend and I cry. Itachi is my hero. He made the ultimate sacrifice: taking the hatred of everyone onto his shoulders, including the one person he loved most, Sasuke. He did it without once breaking his "evil" façade. I can't imagine the pain he was going through, just for everyone else's sake-to preserve peace... I love it so much
