Sakura had to take the role of the healer because she’s the most normal of team 7. With a former assassin as their sensei who just watches from the shadows and has a penchant for tardiness. Naruto being an idiot savant with a demon beast inside him. And Sasuke the brooding loner that’s smart and calculating as hell thinking he’s destined to be alone and carry all his pain that he didn’t want the others to truly feel what he felt and bare that burden alone. Sakura was the most human of them all and had to deal with smarts and reasoning and try to be the glue that holds them all together. Boys are so stupid (I should know because im one of them). She gets too much hate and maybe Kishimoto could’ve done better but he tried his best and im thankful it worked out the way it had. Team 7 is together again, even when they have to go their separate ways. That’s all she ever wanted. It wasn’t about just her love of Sasuke, it was about her love of Naruto and the team as a whole. The boys keep trying to clash with their fists when they could just stop trying to make it a competition. And they keep trying to leave her out of it since she’s the purest of them. She misunderstood Naruto. Sasuke barely says anything besides his own truth and forgot how to smile. She may be physically weak, but when it counts, she always willing to step up for both of them, even if it kills her. It’s not her fault she’s only human with a still living family to go home to. Sasuke should remember that he always had a home and family with them.
