" Feels like nothing" .... I have to try this movement. It is very efficient and ...and very fast ! Thank you for this tip.

Thank you for the nuanced tip of uchimata. This is actually what the nage no kata shows. It's funny how efficient uchimata can be.

Wow... like the timing of this!!! Sharing this with the kids. For Jack: saw one of your fights in San Jose a few weeks ago - one of the toughest we've ever seen and we were all impressed. Like watching two ninjas battle. My son, 10, and I were watching without blinking. Thank you for sharing!!!

A pleasure to watch. I'm not a specialist but it sounds like it's feasible with no gi.

Beautifully executed. Is this not the method used in Nage no Kata?

Interesting observation. It doesn't look quite as circular but I'm no kata expert.

Oh, I see it... it's almost the same kind of set up as the uki-goshi, except you're just bringing your leg up

Going to go out on a limb and say it does. Hip style uchi mata and Harai are very similar in mechanics. The big difference is where your plant foot is at in relation to uke
