Retegi forgot to mention. Mateo is in amazing shape. He looks great, fights for every moment, scores goals. A great replacement for Holland. And Atalanta's opponents are mediocre.

I'll hold my limitless chip until GW 4/5 at least depending on how I perform. For now I do need a GK for today. It's between Emi Martinez or David Raya. But I don't know who to downgrade to get one of them in. I need 0.6M at least. My current team is: Blaswich, Di Gregorio (who I will be taking out), Dumfries, Grimaldo, Schlotterbeck, Kim Min Jae, Cubarsi, Valverde, Yamal, Bellingham, Wirtz, Kimmich, Haaland, Gyokeres, Kane

Hey, something i here quite often: the ideal scenarion is not having 8/9 player on the tuesday, it would be ideal to have exactly 11. This allows you to have perfect information and sub the lowest scoring 3 (+ goalkeeper out). You will statistically just bench more points if you have more wednesday players then 3. Of course sometimes it CAN be worth it to have additional players on wednesday, but only if they are really significantly better than a tuesday player. If they are marginally better, it‘s still better to pick the tuesday player from an xP perspective

You raise some good points. There’s not an exact science, or proven formula, but from my experience having 8-10 players on the Tuesday is more than enough.

@@FPLDylan yeah if you have 9 or 10 you should be good as well, because if 3 out of 8 or 9 field players on day 1 blank you have an easy decision, which is pretty likely. For this limitless I am going with 9 or 10 as well, there are just no good midfielders for day 1 (except arsenal and nobody can know who starts)

I think Saka will not play. There is also a chance he gets only 20-30 mins to get some time before Liverpool. Not worth the risk imo. What do you think about Atalanta? Lookman and Retegui play well.

Lookman will smash Celtic minimum of 1 attacking return and the Italian club need 3pts to progress seeing their schedule

I wonder how many minutes Foden gets but for me it's Wirtz, Foden, Lookman, Pulisic and Saka (maybe a Monaco midfielder seeing they play first on Tuesday)

@@sickemboy9352 I have that same midfield, for now, but with Salah instead of Lookman. I think Atalanta can smash Celtic but Lookman has been regularly subbed off very early in games. My only worry is that Saka wasn't seen in training and I don't know if that means that he might not play

The problem with this match day is that I feel like the best matches are on the 2nd day. If I use the limitless and force myself to buy at least 9 players that play on tuesday I don't really feel confortable with some of the selections

MD5 seems to have a lot of nice fixtures on the tuesday. Might be nice to use the wildcard now for md 3, 4 and 6 (7 and 8 might be difficult to predict due to possible rotation) and then the limitless for md5 with like 4 nice fixtures on tuesday. The only thing is if there are any injuries or maybe even suspensions for md5 it might ruin the limitless strategy

I have 8 players on Tuesday, 7 on Wednesday. Saliba is 100% playing since he is not able to play this upcoming Sunday v Liverpool.

I got stuck with Lewandowski and yamal, but not enough upside to do a limitless with no saka and all the big names you'd want on a limitless with tougher fixtures

Similar squad to what I went with but I took Vlahovic over Martinez, Kocku over Pulisic and defense I have Konsa, Frimpong and Saliba instead of Gabriel, and the 2 Inter defs but after seeing this video, think Im gonna switch out Konsa for Bastoni.

thoughts on this limitless team: gk: raya, sommer def: taa(change to be considered), rudiger(change to be considered), saliba, bastoni, grimaldo mid: foden, wirtz, pulisic, salah, lookman fwd: haaland, lautaro, gyokeres i'm thinking to go differential with lewa cuz of bayern high line thoughts
