You might not like what he says, how he coaches or his in game decisions, but Cronin always gets the best out of his players. The haters will be quiet for a little while longer. The team is starting to catch fire. Go Bruins!

No one is calling for Cronin’s head but he, like all other coaches, are not immune from criticism. Tough talk and coaching hard is fine but calling out your players the way he did outside the locker room (e.g., “they’re soft, they’re delusional) was bush league. He also yanks guys too quickly, which is not going to help with player development. This was clear when he did this to Mara over and over again and now that Mara has shown he can be an impact player (also the only 7’3” player on the team), Cronin can’t take him off the floor. It’s also no surprise he only has 1 HS recruit for next year at this time. We all want the Bruins to win and Cronin to be successful but his way is not the only way.

@@paulcho2549 He yanks players to discourage them from making defensive mistakes and TOs. It reinforces that they need to come into the game mentally prepared. He doesn't do that the later we get into the season. Again, you don't like how he does it, but it works. Look how well the team is playing now. His track record speaks for itself.

@@paulcho2549that’s why you’re not the coach and Cronin is. 🤷

Possibly this team's best effort this season, considering the opponent and what the Bruins have gone through this season. From Coach Cronin's demeanor, one can see his disposition improving as the team improves, especially defensively The importance of having a team leader who leads by example, as Coach commends Dailey for doing, has to be an important factor for this team on and off the court. As Coach Wooden expressed when his teams played well, Cronin should be "pleased" with tonight's effort. GO BRUINS!!!

When coach Cronin is complimenting his players, coaching staff, and Pauley crowd, you know things are going good with this Ucla mens basketball team and its fun to watch.

Cronin is a dedicated coach. He focuses on getting maximum effort out of every player. Makes them work as a team. At the same time he cares about each player as a whole on and off the court. He does it the right way. He has the players believing in themselves. Let’s keep that focus and be ready to play a very good Michigan State team

Remember when people lost their mind after he called out his team? Turns out he was right to do what he did.

Great five game winning streak, but still got a lot of work to do. Those four losses loom larger, imo, than these five wins. None of these teams have the height and length of Michigan. Michigan State coming in on Tuesday night will be a great test. But even upcoming road games in Illinois and Indiana, as well as Purdue and Northwestern. All winnable, but have to play disciplined and learn to offset their length.
