No it wasn't, both Ona Batlle and Alexia Putellas are Catalan, they are from the same region and speak the same language, there is no way Alexia's pronunciation was bad on Ona's name@@paupadros

@@amacuro It's slightly more complex than that. I speak both Catalan and Spanish. By the manner Alexia pronounced the name, she speaks Spanish natively and applies Spanish phonology to "Ona Batlle" which is a Catalan name. She gives it away by her way of pronouncing the "ll" as "y" and the final "e", which should be a schwa. If you look up someone like Aitana Bonmatí pronouncing the name, you'll hear it differently, because Aitana speaks Catalan natively. :)

when i was very young i could only play with my male footballing heroes, and now i've got all my greats, male or female, in my squad. assisting heung min son with alexia putellas and aitana bonmati just feels magical. thank you alexia for all your hard work in helping build that barcelona side. it was the introduction to football for the young women in my family. you make us proud every day

Alexia was injured for a long season and played a bad World Cup. Sam Kerr was injured and didn’t play good as well. Popp had one of her weakest seasons of her career as well. There are by far better options than these 3
