If only Paige will be selfish, she can easily nail 50 points. But she's a natural team player that's why I like her. Many others can produce high scores but not as exciting to watch as Paige.

Paige is a once in a generational player, girl is so intelligent humble\killer instinct (dianna) w.movement off ball, (curry), get her own shot,(maya) efficiency/unselfish(Sue) I said it all yr versatility(Stewie) can flat out 🏀, but can we talk bout Westbrook, she’s gorgeous (team photo) model shoot 😉 and she balls, 1 thing I like bout no fans is being able to hear her a few times w. Blocks “gimmie that sh**” & classic And1!! I watch every game, I like nikas progress, it’s interesting what geno said w. Paige, wonder what geno said to azzi fudd recruiting. The Freshman Transition to UConn Players has unfolded right on our screens in such a short time and a small number of games!!! In a way, the schedule that was originally posted did not come about is a blessing in disguise because there were some big games at the front of the schedule that would have tough to win.... But now this team is gelled and playing on all legs!!! Great Luck Ladies Huskies vs South Carolina!!!!!

Anyone in basketball would have to love "4 freshmen and one high school player" on the court at one time and winning the game! Teenagers are stereotyped/labeled by many, but the UConn players are showing that they can perform exceptionally well. Watch number 5, 10 and I think 3 are all teenagers.

Now post game analysis Paige is doing exactly what geno asked... nika and Williams makes Paige more of a star. Tbh nika honestly almost had a quadruple double so many steals/deflections the fact you can have her run the point with 3 great ball handlers. When more attention against stronger competition on Paige either nikas 3s drop or Williams can always go off then you have liv/evina/Edwards playing at a high tempo oh and there missing Anna this is a scary team if they can defend like they did today. Their effeciant offense but UConn is known for that hard nose defense and they brought it today some miscommunications here and there but overall defense was 💪. Oh and shoutout to the HS/2wk college player saylor for getting her first bucket. Let’s show up for SC and go huskies

Good game all around for both teams. Marquette is a good shooting team and scrappy on the boards. UCONN tightened it up in the 2nd quarter on defense and on defense. Would like to see the other Freshman have more playing time in the end, not just with 1 minute to go. They will have their hands full again with S. Caroline on Monday who gave Arkansas a run for their money. Can't wait. Mulh is getting better each game. Liv had a good game. Good team effort.

I have thought all season that Evina was the more natural point guard but I really like Muhl at the 1. They are kind of positionless on offense anyway, and Muhl at the point lets Paige and Evina run off screens for open shots.

Nika has good guard agility and ball handling. Very quick first step on a drive . . . just needs to finish or get fouled. Like the was she fights through screens. With a little more shooting form, she'd be dangerous.

@erics92133 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I'm kinda bothered by that too. They need more playing time during blowouts. What's the deal?
@pteddie69653 жыл бұрын
MBE, I think that everything that Geno does is directly connected to the end of the year tourny. He thinks that his starters and the first players to come off of the bench need to play together and gel more. Those other players are going to have to earn more PT by kicking butt in practice. They have to force the coach to play them and that's going to be hard on such a talented squad.
@savsav52643 жыл бұрын
They basically have a 7-player roster with two injured players at the moment. Three of the freshmen see significant time and the one isn't ready to play yet.

Other than UConn the Big East’s women’s basketball program sucks!! And as long as UConn’s coaching staff stays intact all the other teams will always be playing for second place. With 7 freshmen on this team and a solid Ohio State transfer coming along with another four highly touted high schoolers (Fudd included) heading their way who in the Big East has a chance to beat them….nobody!!
