These two women who are calling the game have interesting chats, but they consistently fail to tell us which woman just shot the ball. That said, UCONN has healthy talent for the first time in three years. My developed favorites are Paige & Sarah, because of their developed talent. Ice, Chen & KK come next. They give the same performance every night. I like Ashlyn Shade because she is such a super athlete who plays defense and shoots well. El Alfli has a lot of potential and she's at a good level of execution right now. Next, Gino has good shooters & playmakers who aren't yet getting much floor time. One way of describing this team is, that some of the girls who started for UCONN in the last five years wouldn't make this 2024 team. Another way of stating how good they are is that Caroline Ducharme and Azzi Fudd might never start for UCONN again.

Thanks again for these replays. As I've said in the past, we rarely get to see these games live out here towards the white wall surrounding our flat earth. Actually, this was shown live at midday on Saturday the 16th, but it's always good to be able to go back and watch a play in slow motion! BTW, the commentators pointed out Sarah's parents, but I'm pretty sure that was Paige's father sitting in front of them with his wife and their son... 🏀👍
