The BMW X7 allows its drivers to use the car's embedded cameras as a dash cam or to record the car's surroundings. I recommend Jeep to push an over the air update to allow its drivers to do the same. After market dash cameras are so tacky in such a nice looking vehicle. Consider it.

Have a 2023 Durango Citadel with 10.1 display. My TomTom Nav screen is always dark and not in light mode as shown in this video. I have tried everything I can think of. How do I switch it to light mode?

I have a 21 Durango SRT 392 and was just fooling around with the widgets and I pulled down from the center as you did and I didn’t see any Sur.Cam do you know why that is.

You may not have that system in your vehicle, I don’t. I have a 22 Durango GT Plus.

JD Power just knocked Ram down in its ratings because of their Uconnect5 and all the issues it brings to the owners. Personally, we traded a Trailhawk with Uconnect4 for a new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited trim with the Uconnect5. After only 6 months we traded that Grand L back in for a new Trailhawk with good old, tried and proven Uconnect4. Run from any Jeep/Ram/Dodge product using the Uconnect5!

Head of user experience? Let's talk about the poor response time in this system, even in this video. Or the failed "two active phones" that breaks carplay. Or how the radio has trouble selecting a phone if two paired devices are present EVEN with favorites set. Or how when it can't pick a carplay device, it just hangs for the entirety of that drive and you can't do anything to cancel or interrupt it. Or how Waze holds onto the dimmed sound for the driver as if it were in constant "notification" mode. Or the removed ability to add the cameras to the bottom tray. I love the intentions for this radio. You get an "A" for dreaming, but you get a "D -" on implementation. This radio is frustrating AF. I ordered a '22 RAM. It comes with a UConnect5 (assuming the truck every actually gets built) and honestly, I'm terrified of this radio coming in it.

Our new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L with Uconnect5 lost all the memory settings for Driver 1. In addition, the NAV would stop working and you would have to pullover to reset your destination. In my comment up above, I went on to say that we got rid of Uconnect5 after only 6 months and went back to Uconnect4 in a 2023 Trailhawk.
