The upcoming 2024 election has profound implications for health policy, and we can think of no better national expert to discuss this with than Ashish Jha, currently Dean of the Brown University School of Public Health. Ashish served as White House COVID-19 Coordinator in 2022-2023, and was director of Harvard’s Global Health Institute from 2014-2020.
Ashish, who was a UCSF resident and chief resident in the late 1990s, is arguably the nation’s leading expert in evidence-based healthcare policy. In literally hundreds of national media appearances, he was a trusted source of information during the COVID era. We’ll discuss the health policy proposal of the current presidential candidates, reflect on the key issues facing the healthcare system, and try to predict the future of U.S. health care policy.
