Synopsis:
Just as UCSF pioneered the Hospital Medicine specialty, we have also introduced an innovative care model in Hospital-Based Oncology (HBO). In this Medicine Grand Rounds, we will hear from Sam Brondfield on how the HBO team integrated oncology care into the hospital setting to provide more comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary care. Attendees will learn practical best practices for caring for oncology patients in the inpatient setting, and explore how the lessons learned from HBO can be applied to improve clinical practice.
