Hey, check it out. This speaker, Dr. Jeffrey Graham, is the same person who started this "Perspectives on Ocean Science" series in 2001. As someone who's enjoyed years worth of watching these most excellent lectures that have enriched my life - this seems like a good place to shout out a huge THANK YOU to Jeffrey Graham for starting, and Nigella Hillgarth for maintaining and enhancing, these wonderful lectures courtesy of the Scripps Oceanographic Institution !!! And they are still going strong in 2014 ! :- )

I am a fishmonger and wholesale cutter in New Jersey. I am also a compulsive fisherman with a fondness for snakehead fishing here in the Northeast. The anatomy of this apex predator is truly mind blowing. I thought I knew something about fish prior to sticking a knife into one. I then had to re-learn what I thought I knew about fish. I made a movie: The Mind-Blowing Anatomy of the Snakehead, on my channel Jersey Jim Fish. I can only assume that if you are reading this, you are intelligent and equally interested in fish. As I am far from a classically trained academic, I would welcome any critique of my intuitive and maybe somewhat crude description of this magnificent creature's unique adaptations. Thanks in advance and if you leave me a comment, reference this presentation so I can credit this fine gentleman's presentation in any follow-up insight you might have.

this was an awesome video, and I wish more people would watch it. seriously, it only has like 3000 views and about 30 likes? and yeah, the 3-year-old comments of a concerned thinker are my thoughts exactly...
