@Thoth Al Khem I use the snow peak with the wind screen for many years but for some reason I've switched things around and now use the Kovea Spider due to the pkatform. I see you have the Hangul alphabet on your phone too. Lol

For the loosening screws, how about Loctite? Also, I found with the Snow Peak Giga Power, I actually found the optional windscreen actually caused instability because the pot supports can't bottom out to their most stable positions. Without the windscreen, a pot sits rock-solid. That being said, my go-to stove now is either a Soto Windmaster or an Amicus. The former is the better of the two, and the latter is just a bit lighter and more compact. Both great stoves though.

I don't know if Loctite can take the heat. I had the soto Windmaster and found it to be to strong and it was hard to simmer but the regulator didn't burn a lot of fuel. All the above mentioned stoves are acceptable. 👌

rashoop never had that problem with the snow peak windscreens, i have 2 gs100 stoves both with windscreens and when the windscreens are on the stoves all 4 of the pot supports are fully extended and even large pots are stable. senior hiker 77 you're right, loctite won't take the heat and will just burn up. i've never had any screws on my snow peak stoves loosen but even if they did i carry a leatherman tool with a phillips bit in it so i could fix any problems i run into.

I got second degree burns from my giga power stove after a pot of boiling water slid off and landed on my ankle. It needs more aggressive gimping.
@SeniorHiker77Ай бұрын
I know that can happen. I've started using a Kovea Stove. It's lower to the ground and seems safer to me.

Yes Rolf, I still like it, as you see I changed out the 3 season inner for the 4 season inner now that it's getting cooler her in Georgia.

I didn't have that particular problem but I couldn't control the flame on simmering plus it burned to hot and scorched the bottom of my titianium pot. I've already sold mine and also the profile was to high. Wasn't a happy camper. Lol
