Love my city, Detroit should be the where the rock and roll hall of fame is. Anyone ever hear any iconic songs about Cleveland? Didn’t think so..

I am PROUD to be from Detroit ! I was about 6 when the city was on fire broke out. I recall sitting in the back yard watching the sky to the East a beautiful red color. In the 70's I was right there at The Michigan Palace watching 5 bands for 5 bucks. That was the days.

Detroit’s on the rise once more, all while we’re building the best cars in the world again. But I couldn’t tell u how we became so good at music.

British Broadcasting Company could do this but our own media could not do this. It's really sad when this type of history is grossly overlooked and not even recognized for their beauty and power that it really is. I had to learn this stuff much later from hanging out with an Old Hippie. And the fact is is this stuff needs to be taught and really talk well
