Good News! After discharging the 4S pack down to about 3.7v per cell, then balance charging it back up to full, fixed the problem. I thought the pack might have been ruined, but it's all good and even now

Honestly was a little bit nerve racking at the beginning not knowing what's gonna happen, but yeah.. it turned into a good sesh with no rescues needed. I'm glad you're enjoying the boat stuff 😁

Very cool bro make sure you stay on top of your batteries!!! I had 3 packs fail in a day and the last one burned in the boat fixable but damaged. If you feel a power sag stop running! Boats eat batteries even when you take care not to drain them down too far 🙏🏼🙌🏼

@@mikesrcgarage 💯 lesson learned.. I was under the impression you could run it down like a car and be ok, but nope! Thankfully I was able to get the 4S pack back up to full on all 4 cells 👍

Nice! What upgraded do you recommend for the stock setup? Thinking a higher c ratting and change the prop? Looking to get a solid 35

I think you could probably hit 30 with the right prop and a spicy 3S pack, but it just doesn't have the RPMs to be fun for me on 3S. I found this boat is really sensitive to added weight with the tray in the rear like it is.. so weigh and measure your potential packs carefully

Yep, you would have to drop in a new motor to accomplish 35+. I was able to log 46 with a 4519 prop and a 36series leopard. Then I a got greedy and put on a high rake prop and she split the hull open and it sank! Video of both runs on my channel .

​@@ModifiedRC0877 Yep, 1800kv it needs 6S voltage to turn decent RPMs, but I like 4S on this motor. It's fast enough to be fun but not too fast.. I'm about to throw a 100A ZTW Shark in there so hopefully it doesn't cook that motor!
