Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! That being said, I think it’s a pass for me…I already own Straylight and numerous other cinematic drone texture plugins. It’s a pretty saturated area right now….

I think if you already own the other two.. maybe you can just load your own samples and basically it's the same engine.

Is there any reason in getting this if I already have Straylight? I'm using my own samples so I guess not.

The engine is very similar but the samples and presets design is the value. If you know or want to design your own sounds then I guess you can skip this

It's dark but I could find also some very bright presets.. really it's about the samples ..

Nice demo!...Are they CPU hungry as Pharlight/Straylight?

I believe so.. some of the preset are heavy. Still most of the time no issues and I was able to run at least 4 instrument channels with Ashlight

Great demo and I love the concept behind this instrument, I wonder if you know of any library that has this kind of movement and variation but more oriented towards pop/acoustic/folk music... Like strings, keys, guitars, etc. other than pure textures. Most libraries are very static, which allows realism and control, but not much emotion. So far I found Noire by NI and some of the Felt Instruments stuff. Any other recommendation? Thanks!

It's a sound design powerhouse and you can run 3rd party libraries there. Finally.. if there's anything from NI you want to see let me know. I will try and think of more ideas..

It’s possible but I think the main difference is the granular sampler and face you can import your own samples

I need to explore more but I think it’s about the samples and how the sound design moves with modulation and effects. I mean the engine is probably the same. I guess you pay for the samples and time invested in the sound design of each preset.
