When I worked there I remember the look on visitors faces as they stood in the observation tower watching the widebodies landing at Dulles International Airport. If your a plane watcher that's a great place to do it. At one point there was a live feed so you could hear Dulles Tower talking to inbound flights on final approach

A most excellent collection. I was there in January 2010 when Shuttle Enterprise was the centre piece. I had only a few hours. Next time, I'll take the whole day.

It is an amazing collection. But, if you go to DC to see it go to both the Hazy In this video and the museum on the National Mall..... it has the smaller most historically important items.
