So many deep lamas ,Dudjom, khyentse, Urgyen were married with kids ,I wish they shared more about dealing with being a family man, wives, kids etc while maintaining Rigpa. 💚💛💜👍👍👍

This is true, though I imagine many high lama's did not have a family life like we might imagine in the west. I'm just guessing, but one could imagine that they had many attendants to take care of many of their regular mundane duties.

This movie must have been taken in the late sixties or early seventies about 1974. Trijang Rimpoche is in the front row and looks as he did just before his death when I met him in Dharamsala. I do not know for a fact, but I believe the two statue heads are the heads of two sacred statues from Tibet which were destroyed by the Red Guard. The heads have been brought out of Tibet and offered to His Holiness. They are now displayed at the Tibetan Library of Works and Archives in Dharamsala. The Mahakala puja is for the purpose of purifying and re=consecrating the statues. A beautiful but badly, badly damaged bronze statue of the Buddha in a seated meditation pose, about the size of a two-year-old, was given to me by Lama Yeshe, who brought it back from Tibet. I carried it around in my backpack for a long time. On one evening while I was meditating with the statue up on a shelf in my house beside Tashi Jong, a terrible black smoke came out of it and filled my room so that I could hardly breathe and I heard terrible screams and explosions and gunshots, and machine guns. My whole room was shaking with the explosions and I saw rivers of blood and dead bodies in front of me in a courtyard and buildings on fire. It was Tibet! Clairvoyance of touch is un-nerving enough, but that vision was really terrifying. I ran out of my room breathing hard and really scared. I gave the statue to Tashi Jong gompa after that. And Khamtrul Rimpoche treated it with great respect and made an altar stand for it. I can't explain such things. They just happen and really there is not much more to say. All I can say is that such things don't happen in Granville, Ohio on Peppermint Farm where I grew up. Developing equanimity is important because stuff like this happens. And here Ukraine is suffering from it too.

Oh are you in Ukraine now??. To many wars its a curse. The pandemic and much else. American wars have caused the Karma for the political situation here
Does anyone know or have a link to the beautiful remembrances song/melody in the last part?

May I know the stone faces are they the faces of deities? Termas? Or what do they represent?

I do not know for a fact, but I am guessing that these are the heads of famous and holy statues from Tibetan gompas in Tibet that were destroyed by the Red Guard in Tibet. Someone has brought them out and presented them to His Holiness's entourage. I believe this puja is to purify the statues and re-consecrate them. They are doing Mahakala puja, the great Dharma Protector. Trijang Rimpoche is in this video looking as he did when I met him, so this must be about 1974?
