I wouldn't bother buying the megaboom 3 as the megaboom sounds a lot better... just purchased the megaboom 3 and I'm going to send it back tomorrow morning.. definitely sticking with my original megaboom!!!!

I'll try out the megaboom 3, I have the megaboom and I can't connect it to my boom 2 after the latest firmware update. Like I said I'm gonna try the megaboom 3and see if it will connect to my 2 boom 2s so I can go into party up mode because with my megaboom I can't, I can't even connect my boom 2 and magaboom anymore because of that stupid update.

Megaboom really doesn't connect to the more expensive models. But we think with Boom 2 and Megaboom 3 you will have no problems with connectivity.

Never buy more than one megaboom 3 speaker. They are a nightmare to play together. Party mode is a disaster. Incredibly random. Seriously just stick to one. As for the charger?!? Stupid expensive for a charger.
