In terms if connecting more than one speaker with UE, the first UE Boom released in 2013 can connect to the Boom and Megaboom 3, don't know about the Hyperboom but probabbly it can connect with it as well. That's really good

Love your channel man. Before I watch I’m going to make guesses. 1. Better distance between speakers in stereo mode or party mode 2. They don’t switch their speaker pairing protocol. 3. Slightly more rugged 4. On average cheaper 5. App is better

i really enjoy your voice! i have a JBL charge 3, flip 2, and go 2. they’re all pretty good. the clip 2 sat in the rain for a week and works fine, just not as loud. the little $30 go 2 will have officially lasted me 2 years on christmas this year!

I just received my hyperboom & this thing has a sensational sound, now mind you I had no intentions on spending $400 on any speaker. I had originally bought the W- king d8 & mini which I knew weren't in this class but the prices were right, but after hearing the hyperboom at bestbuy I couldn't resist, so ultimately I returned both those speakers with absolutely no regrets. I'm very satisfied!

I must say, I like both products. I use two flip 4 (mostly in Stereo mode) and a boom 3. In some cases, for example 80ties pop music I find the sound of the UE Boom more suitable, for more bass sound like electro and hip hop I like the JBL more. But two more points that speak for the UE Boom are the durability. It is like a solid brick while on the flip 4 I am always a little bit anxious to destroy membranes in my backpack. The other point is 360° Sound. A single UE Boom is able to give some sort of stereo sound which I don't get from the JBL. Thanks for the entertaining video. Greetings and best wishes from Germany.

i have both speakers but I can say that I like the flip 5 more than the boom 3. The boom 3 has a nicer build but the sound signature for it kills me. Jbl's bass sounds so much better but the UE hyperboom is louder. The thing is the choice is yours, I don't need super loud speakers so I pick JBL.

Hello, I've bought the jbl flip 5 because the previous jbl 2 plus had battery problems, so the seller told me about the flip 5. It costs in our country something like 125 usd and infact I am totally disappointed because after some day of use, It's difficult to switch it on...and the fact that it has ONLY one driver makes me think....So I have to decide beetween the megaboom (how many watts? I've read it has about 9 watts, is this possible?) and the jbl charge plus, both will costs 40 usd more...Do you think it works to make the switch for this price or its easier just to change the defective flip5 with another flip 5? I own a couple speakers from bose, JBL Sony and one ue. I like and prefer the JBL sound quality but my biggest annoyance is i can't connect them, there's so much connectivity problems after only 1 song. They disconnect or start skipping. I've used different music streaming apps, WiFi, no WiFi and they never stay connected.

Any ideas as to why the UE MEGABOOM 3 does not play when paired to a Yamaha RX-A780 and the sound soutce/input is HDMI? Hello: I'd like to purchase a bluetooth portable speaker such as the JBL Charge 4 or UE Megaboom 3, but I want one that will play from my Yamaha Rx-a780 when the receiver is playing music from an HDMI source. I tried UE Megabopm 3, and it stops playing when the source of the receiver is switched to an HDMI input. Apparently, this is an issue with SCMS-T in some speakers and headphones. Do you happen to know which bluetooth speakers may work with the receiver? I know the problem is not the receiver because I can get it to pair and play fine with three different headphones, as well as two UE ROLL speakers. Thank you in advance,

Durability UE, Sound JBL! Though for small i trust the wounderboom 2 and Roll 2, I can't believe the sound/volume comming out of those small form factors,Midrange on up JBL. Though I'm praying charge 4 and flip 5 last longer then 2 years compared to flip 4 and charge 3, Xtreme2 and boombox have been grand!

I would love to have you connect your hyperboom with 2 to 4 megabooms and compare with jbl. Would love to see if that rectify the hi end lacking of the hyperboom...I have 4 megaboom3's and told love to see what the capabilities are sound wise .. Question - How does UE boom 3 compared to UE boom 1 soundwise? My girlfriend had the first ue boom and I hated the lack of bass in that speaker so I got JBL CHARGE 3 which has much better sound. Now recently I was considering getting the UE Boom 3 simply because I love it's design but I'm afraid of buying it since it might have the same lackluster sound of the first ue boom. thank you.

The UE sound just does not cut it for me. When $80 speakers are sounding better then you need to do something different. Maybe put a tweeter in them? Tune the bass radiator better? I don't know. But if Chinese speakers like Anker etc can do it, why can't UE?

JBL bass is way better than UE . Plus nothing is on the level of the JBL Xtreme . I've had my charge 3 for years . Battery still works great , still charges my phone and lasts all day long on one charge. I went and got some JBL 1 series monitors to make beats on , just got them yesterday cant wait to use them they sound amazing in a apartment set up

@@OGMeatball jbl has only 2 speakers in the bluetooth section which are good, I mean the best in competition or at the top. The xtreme 2 and the partybox series, especially the 100. But the only speaker i am interested is the jbl partybox 100, since its the best for the money in this size for what it delivers. The jbl xtreme 2 is not the best anymore. I got a teufel rockster cross and it destroys the dockin dfine 2+, UE speakers in this size, the jbl xtreme 2..everything in this size. (not minirigs but they cost maybe 500 euro+, double the price of a rockster cross for 2.1 setup)

Mono speakers are better than the old stereo speakers on the charge 3 or flip 4. With the old speakers, the drivers are so close together that stereo is so pointless. A mono driver is much better and gives more power because the membrane area is much larger than with two drivers. So don't cry because of mono yes.

UE because I don't like JBL's bass forward sound signature as much. And because the Charge speakers don't have an easy way to hang on something. There's a hook, clip or lanyard on LITERALLY every other JBL speaker except the Charge, which is the best model for the size to sound quality imo. So I choose Megaboom.

I was thinking of getting either the JBL Boombox 2 or the UE Hyperboom and I decided to go with the Hyperboom because of sound quality as well as less surface area. Before I purchased it, my friend told me he got 2 UE Megablasts instead because they are fully waterproof compared to the Hyperboom. Is that a smart idea or should I stick with the Hyperboom? I feel like I will lose a lot of base of I do the 2 Megablasts. Advice please!!

I have tried using Sony ( xb20&30), JBL Charge and pc speakers , Bose Soundlinks and Computer speakers, LG (PK5), Denon Envaya dsb250bt and other cheaper brands like Trendwoo and Doss from time to time.. but I haven't tried a UE speaker yet. Based on my experience with JBL (computer speakers in particular), yes it does sound good and stylish but not good for long term use, the driver's surround foam brittles in a short period of time. Bose seem to last longer. The companion 2 series 1 lasted over 10 years. I've been using a Bose micro since 2017 and it still holds an excellent charge and sounds good as the day I got it. I am using An Anker Motion plus right now along with Bose speakers alternately.

I got the jbl clip 4 and sound incredible! because the white noise is not present while very low volume while am sleeping than the flip 4 the flip 4 you can hear white noise while low volume no wonder why they products they lower the features the higher the quality so JBL wins.🙂

You not need some extras on ue with the Equalizer. You have on every smartphone on your music player an Equalizer. So you can do it with JBL too...
