I dont get that whole issue about voice speakers and such. This thing needs something with bluetooth, why does it than need build in voice app whatever? That is probably already available for the device its paired to, why than double. Adding this adds to the price, i think its good they dropped it.

I purchased a Megaboom 3 in 2019. Thinking of purchasing another as well as a long range, apTX HD and LL bluetooth transmitter/receiver to do wireless sets. Do you know if the MB3 has apTX HD and LL compatibility?

There is no Megaboom 2. There's only the Boom 2, which is the smaller model.

I recently bought 2 x Bose Revolve Plus - sound is very good but I am disappointed by the Revolve Plus's connectivity. It's a bit buggy, the range is on the short side (just 30 feet and less if walls are in the way), and you can only connect two speakers. On the other hand you can connect it to a pc using a usb cable and I think it has a heaphone style Aux input too. Anyone know how the sound on the Megaboom 3 compares? These reviewers seemed unimpressed.
