I remember when I first bought "character interaction" for $90 and I thought it was so amazing that I said you should charge more, and later it went up to $120 and still think its cheap. then you come up with "Swordsman" and now this? you are one of the best Developers in UE marketplace!

Putting a lot of work into packages to the folding and the price of them is growing. But I try to release regular free updates significantly expanding the startup functionality for all users including those who have already purchased packages. By the way, soon comes a major update for "character interaction" - update 3.

When developing games, we spend big money on teams to create something like that, I know what I'm talking about. I'm conquered. This clear tribute to Max Payne, the 1st Max Payne, made me almost cry. The additional implementation with John Wick's cinematographic combat is an improvement from Max Payne. This creator/developer took me by storm, his 3 packages "Character Integration + Character Skills + Close Combat : Fighter" have turned all the cards on my table in designing my game and offered all the answers I needed to solve all those details needed to be addressed in order to be able to develop my game in the way I had it in my head in these last 2 months. Some details even given answers to questions I didn't ask to myself yet either {vehicles were the last chapter of the planned workflow}. So... having turned all the cards on my table means I totally must rethink what I needed to invest into. Sadly my budget is terribly low, made even worse by the fact some bastard hacked my PayPal account, bought some damn Nike shoes with 375$ of my money {I'm not an expert at all... which shoes do cost 375$, dammit? If someone knows, please just let me know, 'cos I'm curious... are they made in superlight gold!??} and shut my PayPal account down! Yeah, someone in San Diego California has a target on his back now... I wished his brand new Nike gonna lose grip when he's crossing a street. Yeah... I'm cynical, PayPal is gonna refund me sooner or later but I just have zero sympathy for the criminals! Anyway... budget... even if in promo, which is something I hope is gonna happen, I might be not able to get all... but damn... this developer's really good, damn good and worth every single cent. If I had a proper budget I would hire him, directly, Begging him to join me in this project {it includes other features non available in his systems so implementations are needed and several things need to be tweaked in several parts} so I would just need to focus on making the game look damn good as I imagined it. I'm astonished. I'm usually addicted to great talent in people and this is not an exception. here why I sound so enthusiast. I really am!!!

haha man this is so awesome! smiled troughout the whole video. Some things that would make it even more awesome: a. a more varied counter system. Visually it is very pleasant to see a "fast counter takedown" (like a single troath punch) as a sign of ultimate technique control. b. variation in punching speeds. In the Matrix Neo/Systema it is so badass when a fighter suddenly speeds up massively with his punches.

I would say this looks more close to the style of movies like The Transporter and similar (even the looks and moves of the characters) rather then John Wick. A bit more of grappling and “economy” of movements (functional instead of style) would make it more similar to John Wick. With that said this would me a mind blowing incredible game. It makes me think how action and fighting games just stagnated so much in this decade. It feels they stopped evolving. This would be a great step forward.

As a dark souls player i find this very enjoyable. Keep the good job! If posible try to focus more on the movement part.I mean: it's not wrong at all, in fact it's very good but if you put a ton of variety of moves it would be more customizable and more desirable for any developer. Some examples could be backstep, Side step, pivot, wallriding, jumps, jetpack fly... Maybe i'm talking nosense but i feel the need to day that movement variety is very important to any kind of game.

I feel like all this is missing is a crowd control mechanic. Perhaps a quick grab and push. It would allow the ai to be more aggressive, and to give the player a way to counter that. Just to eliminate the awkward standing around that the enemies sometimes do. Not like I could make anything close to this quality, but thats just my 2 cents

The movement is actually really nice but it seems overshadowed by the amount of blur required to make it smooth, which is artifact-y at least on KZbin. Interpolating movement can be achieved without the motion blur effect, that's really the only thing that bugged me

If this is something you built on your own I have to say it is very impressive! My only complaint is that the constant camera rotations to give it that “cinematic feel.” Is so disorientating and pulls me out of the action than anything else. Relax a little on the camera so we can see and appreciate these mechanics you worked so hard on! :). Other than that looks good!
