is there anyway of stopping the misshape in the shoulders when a weapon is held and the character goes in to idle pose?

I was able to remove the solvers from the IKRig_Synty and it worked fine after. This is after a fresh download of the project files.

You can just scale up the Synty Skeleton to 1.1... quik and dirty ;-)

Same here ! I program in a few languages but C++ was never really needed for the things o worked on over the years. I am slowly forcing myself to learn it though …. Very slowly ! Thankfully there are people out there that share their talents with the rest of us ! GitHub amazes me with the volume of useful code it offers !

@@TCMabe I know you had given up on that series for Unreal Engine 5 where you created a series. But maybe you could consider doing a series of live streams of you working on a project you're passionate about? One of the things that pushed my understanding of Unreal Engine much further was simply watching this one channel where the guy would work on his upcoming projects and you could watch and ask questions as he worked on it. Because then as people watch you work, they could ask stuff that you could explain on the fly. Then you could just keep those videos up on your live section and people can refer back to them.

Now days anything being done on Tick/Update Animation should instead be done by Overriding the "BlueprintThreadSafeUpdateAnimation" function exposed in the ABP and using property access to retrieve the variables, this way its multi-threaded and threadsafe.
