Make sure your visual studio or other IDE has the C++ Game Development Kit installed. Also try to clean and rebuild your project. Make sure the editor for UE isn’t open while trying to build and Lastly see if there are any misspellings near the error line.

The problem with this ALSv4 community plugin is that the input from the character or controller when merged is overridden by the input from the parent ALS character or controller. All input actions must be included in blueprints.

Community is replicated for multiplayer and is more of a C++ plug-in version. There is also a version called ALS Refactored which is supposed to be better.

I am not sure I understand the question. If you are asking how to use ALSv4 in an existing project then this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/maHZZIamopl6pMk If you are asking how to use the animation process in a different project then the process is the same. You still make rigs to transfer runtime animation data and use a hidden character to drive animations to a child mesh.

There is a lot of the coding that is still exposed to blueprints … if you download the compiled version I linked in the description you can check it all out. The Synty conversion video should be later tonight.

I don’t believe so … look into CT_Game Advanced Locomotion Component kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp-7ZIKAectlr8U … has integrations for Lyra and also has Horse, Flying, Climbing assets as well … you’ll spend a little money buying the assets and the files that they are set up to use … like Malbers for the Horses for example … but in the long run … really nice setup and way more flexible.

There are quite a few C++ users on my discord… If you’re specifically interested in the ALS stuff… Check out the user showcase and you’ll see quite a few ALS examples in there… You can probably contact the poster. Depending on what your question is though… It might be something anybody familiar with C++ can answer. Other than that I’m not sure what the best place would be… I’m only covering the installation piece.
