Thank you so much for sharing the video. The video turned out amazing. Yes, UE is used even in TV series and blockbusters, but the level of knowledge of the program there is needed at the highest level, as are the components in your computer.

Great video. Regarding filling those blacks with a big emissive Cube: Usually I had amazing results bouncing the key light from the windows into the scene with a simple white / greyish and large cube. It just feels a tad more natural than using emissive. ;)

Excellent stuff. Very interesting. Thanks. Have you tried a night time interior using Lumen? Ive seen a lot of great looking daylight lighting but no night time lighting inside.

This looks lovely but how do you even start out with getting these super high quality materials and models?

Hello Fabrice, are you going to offer us soon a beginner course on unreal engine 5 (as you did on UE4) or do you advise me to study UE4 in the meantime?

Great video. And thax for info. But I want to mention some issue i see in the image . The right side of the reflection of light on the floor is not correct. What i mean is if you draw a line from the right side of the window to the floor you see that the reflection is extended beyond the frame and from the camera angle it shouldn't reflect where the wall is. I hope you get the point im making. Overall you guys are the best 👌 👍

I agree, you have a good eye. Most people don't notice this. On a subliminal level though, I'm sure it feels a bit off-putting.

Thanks for sharing. Have you noticed any issues when using large emissive surfaces? Any reason you are using a cube instead of a plane as an emissive surface?
@FabriceBourrelly3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, what kind of issues are you noticing ? I used a cube simply to avoid having to turn it around due to the plane being 1 sided. It seems lumen likes self illuminated surfaces to be very obvious, if that makes sense.
@ArthurBaum3 жыл бұрын
@@FabriceBourrelly One sided planes don't really work well with Lumen. The developers said that themselves on a stream. Also: keep in mind that emissive materials themselves are limited. If your mesh is too small or too bright you will get faulty results. Watch this video for more details: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epSUgYOPoZeorqM

I'm thinking why not create a sphere and inverse it and apply the same material that you have for the biggest plane light
@dunne54321 Жыл бұрын
Why use a cube and not just a plane for the fill lights?
@FabriceBourrelly Жыл бұрын
Just out of lazyness really. A plane will do just as well.
