It's been a very long time since I posted something but since I've talked about this in the past I wanted to share this.

Very nice so far! You can reduce to a single material if you use an atlas. I did something similar with a silly LEGO project, runtime skeletal mesh of a bunch of parts, color customization, 'decals' for their textures, ect. I'm not too sure what the performance comparison to a big material is compared to several materials but yeah haha.

@@mdawsondev thanks, it's worth giving it a shot. Should reduce the draw calls but unsure of any other implications. Guess I'll have to find out.
