UEA CAMPUS TOUR PART 1 | Detailed walk through campus

Today's video is a detailed campus tour which I have wanted to do for ages as I think it will be so useful, especially if you haven't been able to visit the UEA in person! I decided to film this video in two parts so I could make it more detailed for you so it can be as helpful as possible. In part 1 I show you the medical centre, Hickling and Barton accommodation, the Sportspark and Chancellors Drive.

I was at UEA from 1970-74. I lived at Fifer's Lane - off campus in the first year. Obviously, there are lots of changes. One change is the disappearance of the pool in the middle of the square. Good call. It was disgusting. Some students used to lob beer glasses into it. It was very inadvisable to get into the pool, as people were tempted to do, in hot weather!

How's paramedical science there? I'm looking for this course in UK not sure which university would be better..

I'm not sure about that specific course as I studied Geography, but you can read more about the course here: www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergraduate/bsc-paramedic-science We also offer open days and applicant days throughout the year where you can talk to current students on that course. Can you take a car with u to ur accommodation ?

Unfortunately there is no parking available for students to leave their car at their accommodation on campus, unless it’s for special circumstances such as a placement for your course where you need to travel. You may be able to park along roads nearby though where there is no permit

I think it is an open WiFi so no need to put in a password

On your move in day you will be given a 'welcome pack' which includes a guide about how to set up the wifi! If you are having troubles though then you can head down to the ITCS building and they have people from the IT team who can help
