La Juve ne ha vinte 2 e per giunta una che era meglio non vincerla e l'altra ai rigori! 7 finali perse solo in Champions! There used to be 3 European competitions before 1999. The third one was the Cup winners cup. Back then, the super cup was played between the winner of the champions league( European cup ) and the cup winners cup. The format wasn't like that then so why should they change it now?

Just seems like even know it is effectively a Friendly Tournament it would make it seem more interesting and prestigious and plus like you win the the 3rd tier European Competition you ain't really getting no award for it like the other two do who play in the Super Cup.
