What a team the Lisbon Lions were you can talk about all the great clubs down the years but what makes these bhoys so special is the fact they lived within a 30 radius of Celtic park all Scots into the bargain so when ppl talk about the past greats mind & tell them that the lions will live forevermore even in 1,000 years time when football will be a non contact sport Celtic will still be the 1s British side to win club football's greatest prize with that the lions live on in so glad my life wasn't ruined by been brought up a ..... well you know I mean hail hail

A team that all lived within 30 miles of Glasgow and won every competition they entered in 67 with the greatest Scottish Manager in Jock Stein who took them to the final in 70 but lost to Feyenoord just as Dutch Football was starting to make it's mark on euro football.

Celtic at that time ,were one of the best club sides in Europe they not only defeated inter Milan, but later beat Leeds when they were the best team in England. Also battered Rangers 4 0 in the 1969 Cup final.Alex Ferguson never played for Rangers again after that game.
