She's one of the most active and diverse seiyuus in the industry. Besides anime (she was recently cast to be in Sylvanian Families), she also does several radios (❤付ければかわいかろう, 文化部は夜を歩く, etc), is one of the recent announcers for Mステ, and was on TV a few times this year (タモリ倶楽部, a Russian analyst for a Rasputin NHK special, Yabai OO, etc), and she still models for Baby (and other lolita fashion). She's doing extremely well. Her twitter seems to be back up too.

Thank goodness. I was extremely surprised of the news from few months ago about the incident as it felt it came outta nowhere. Then again, I don't really follow these kinda news. Still, I'm glad she's doing fine.

Sadly death threats, stalkers, etc are just going to happen to popular people regardless. She especially is an easier target among seiyuu because of her subculture preference. She generates haters on that alone. _sigh_

*sigh* .... I dunno if I should be glad this is just another one of "normal" happening or despair that this has become "normal". I guess I kinda overreact when I heard about her abandoning her Twitter (and maybe her LINEblog to? again, I heard this from a friend so I may have gotten wrong info). When you mention about "her subculture preference", does the bastard had a problem with her fascination with Russian culture in this particular case? Damn.... one of the things I love about her was because she pursued academically something practically unrelated to her work. Just because she love it.

She's an oddball with a lot of interests and some of them just trigger some people. Her interest in Soviet Union, propaganda arts, military gear/history, etc has started flame threads on that alone. It's not the first time her twitter has been shut down. Two years ago her twitter was shutdown because it became a shithole of sexual harassment tweets because people made it a game to see how fast they can get ban. Before that she also had to close her twitter another time when people started to analyze a picture she posted to figure out the bra she was wearing. _faith in humanity declines_ This guy in particular, I haven't read a motive. He apparently made 20 threats and admitted he used to be her fan. It could be that he just wanted attention. Similar stuff has happen to Mizuki Nana, Minase Inori, Tamura Yukari, Hayami Sho, etc etc It's sad. I been following her since before she was a seiyuu perse. She's a super interesting person. I only hope for the best for her.
