I love seeing mid set adaptations so much. Big boss had 2 or 3 grabs where he down throwed at ledge at like 80-100%, and kurama mashed out right away, and in the later games big boss swapped to using either forward throw to get him off stage or up throw for an up air DI mix.

Kurama has a serious problem: he gets very desperate when he doesn't get the stock and on more than one occasion his neutral full of meaningless aerials causes him to lose stocks. He has to learn from Dark Wizzy that sometimes less is more and be patient

I wouldn’t call it a “good” match up tbh. Other than ROB being big and having some issues landing, I’d honestly say ROB has more potential in the matchup. He can edgeguard Mario way harder than the reverse, and can box with him pretty well too. I think it’s a loosely defined even, personally.
