@veselaBanana There was a video (if I manage to find it again I will post the link) of when Rashad was helping Jones prepare for Bader, and Rashad was on top of Jones and had him pinned down and Jones could not get up, so Jones began to yell and scream at Rashad to get off him, Rashad refused to get off till Greg Jackson came along and was like ''stand up''. But I suppose you think Pacquiao is better than Mayweather too because you just follow what everybody else says like a sheep

Tito should have said that he was ready to fight again tonight, even if it was bullshit, that would have shown he is as hungry as he says he is.....just my opinion, I for one would like to see Tito succeed, he has a great hype behind him.

cliff notes of press conference. tito fought his ass off 100 times and didn't regret anything. Sometimes his heart is bigger than his body and when his mind told his body to get up it didn't listen. Rashad said jones praises himself before he goes to sleep at night, and vitor would have beat anderson silva if anderson silva didn't have any legs. He wants a rematch with anderson with both of andersons legs tied together to make it a fair fight with Punching only and no leg kicks to the dome.
@Allsortsman92
@Allsortsman92 13 жыл бұрын
@veselaBanana Why? Because Jones dominated an injury plagued Shogun who is a shadow of his former self? Because he subbed Ryan Bader who in his last 2 fights has proven he has no defense against chokes? I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to be champ, because he won it fair and square, but he has not fought an elite fighter of this age. Rashad dominated the best Tito Ortiz I have seen for 6 years, and is too smart of a fighter to get caught up in the moment...
@Allsortsman92
@Allsortsman92 13 жыл бұрын
Vitor: ''If Anderson didn't throw that kick, he knows that would have happened to him.'' Dude the kick happened you lost, deal with it, stop saying what if. And damn I'm so stoked Rashad won! He looks like a complete different fighter, and he will be champ again, Jones saying ''same old, same old'' is proof that he knows Rashad will beat him and will try to deny that he deserves a shot . Rashad will be champ again! He is the second best fighter in the UFC in my opinion (Behind Jose Aldo)

Jesus Christ stop talking about Ariel Helwani people. I swear to God after reading some of the comments Ariel is mentioned more than than the fighters. Why is no one saying how great Rashad looked last night, what about Vitor's impressive Knockout, and the fact that Alexander Gustafsson made Hamill his Bitch, or Rory MacDonald dominant performance over Mike Pyle, & lastly Dennis Hallman's ridiculous man thong he were during the fight. You know, the things that actually involve yesterdays event.
@gabriel28748

@xblkhorsex At least he took the fight against Rashad on such short notice, something Machida wouldnt even do. Rashad is #2 in the division and Tito took the fight when no one else would, he knew someone had to step up. Is he making excuses, yeah, but he took the fight and fought hard, you cant not give the guy respect.

To boo Rashad is crazy to me. This man wins fights and his fights are not boring. He strategizes. The people that call him a humper, well get mad at the fighter who allows that. I don't think he humps. I thin he mixes it up. Rampage is my dude, but he need take note. If Rampage trained with or like Rashad, Rampage would be unstoppable.
@brandonrussell79
@brandonrussell79 13 жыл бұрын
Haven't watched the video yet, but Tito didn't need to say he took the fight on short notice. Most people knew that and it's not like he didn't come to fight. He didn't look bad fighting. It was obvious that Rashad was carefu not to make a mistake in the fight against Tito. Tito is still a good and experienced fighter. I was impressed with Tito and just as happy for Rashad.

speaking of Jones, he IS cocky as hell, 23 and cocky, he is going to get TKO by rampage, if he catches him, his chin hasnt been tested yet, and it will sooner.. also ppl call him the future.. call him the future after he beats 3 or 4 guys in a row, then praise him. he just got the title. he got lots of contenders to beat. like Rampage, Lyoto, Rashad and more

I really am tired of Tito Ortiz... he can't just say that he lost and let it go... he always has to bring up who he WAS and all his old glory, instead of giving it up completely to his opponent. He always sounds like he's begging for attention. I don't even like Rashad as a fighter, but I respect his abilities and how well spoken he is about everything.

Lol @ Belfort. Liked when he said he's hungry to get that belt again, and implied that if Silva hadn't front-kicked him, Belfort woulda ko'd him. But when he said that UFC would overtake soccer as the top sport in Brazil in 3 years, I knew he was delusional.

@dposey38 Vitor only as good as his opponent and had the utter nerve to say he would have done that to Anderson. No diss to his win, but I just didn't like his comment. Well Akiyama should have said if he didn't get KO'd, he would've stopped the fight......

@rspkk0 Vitor got caught with a lucky kick against silva & nothing more. Do you honestly think anderson can take Vitors punches??? I don't think so I really hope theres a rematch cuz when Vitor finds his opening its blitzkrieg & silvas history in the 1st guaranteed

@TheGreg360 I agree. It's just two different sports. Would a fighter make a great football player? At a pro level, no. Likewise, a pro linebacker would get royaly beatdown by a pro fighter of the same weight class. MMA and Football are apples and oranges.
