The real negativity here are the comments against Nick!! What a sweet beautiful soul he is! Nothing but honest and pure. He just fought, was probably uncomfortable and just wanted to relax and get high. Instead he had to answer a bunch of snoozer questions which only served as a reminder of things he wasnt happy about. I'm a fan for life! Nick Diaz all day, all night all day! ❤

It pisses me off that Dana says what he says @36:14 when Nick is so visibly upset. To say that GSP called Nick "the most disrespectful human being" after an emotional press conference is such an asshole move. GSP never ever said that out of his own mouth publicly because he was a coward. So disrespectful. Poor Nick, no wonder he loses it at the GSP press conference and says the UFC is trying to sell wolf tickets.

This is by far the best post fight press conference of all time. I have probably watched it 10 times, but can still watch it again. This is the most uncomfortable Dana has ever looked at a post fight presser. You can tell that Diaz is a real person and reponds to questions with real unedited answers. Breath of fresh air to all of the standard cliche answers. This is why I will always be a fan of Diaz win or loose. P.S. - Ben Askren should be in the UFC. Check out some of his fights. Best wrestling I have ever seen from an mma fighter. He is no joke and the UFC screwed all of the true mma fans by not letting this undefeated olympian fight the best guys in the world. Can't wait to see Rousey fight again, she is amazing and worth the extra pay-per-view cost. Great video post Karyn.

I think another huge factor is that when people get into this kind of competition, there's a huge rise and build before the fight and then a major fall after the fight. Nick, being such an intense person, I think takes the post fight era a lot harder than most people. I don't think a press conference right after a fight is the best time to get his thoughts recorded. Look at how he's handling himself now with the Silva fight coming up. Super level headed.

"I had to find something to fight him about" Nick is great but so personal, he really doesn't seem to want to beat people up, he needs to find a "good" or valid reason to do so. He rants about what he thinks is interesting, cause he's a pothead I guess, and not because he's a diva or cage-clown like so many other fighters. Humble(:ish) but honest and talkative.

Nick Diaz is NOT stupid. He knows that he's a hot commodity at this point, the UFC cannot afford to cut him, there's too much money to be made off of his fights. He will continue to say whatever he wants regardless of what Dana White thinks. Nick is a lot more intelligent than people think, he just isn't the most eloquent or articulate.

I'm not a doctor by any stretch, but listening to Nick and considering the brain trauma he's suffered, I wouldn't be surprised to find out he does have serious depression. A lot of athletes and soldiers have taken their lives due to that type of depression and I truly hope I'm wrong. Fighters like Nick put it all on the line and I hope he makes it out in good health.

As much as I would love to see Nick in the octagon again sometimes I feel it was better for him to stop. He never came back although suspension was cut to 18 months. He prob found out he was better off too. Unfortunately he took partying in LV with the same entusiasm like fighting. Its hart to decide what was worse for him. Still love him and miss his fighting, he is one of a kind.

I agree. I wish he hadn’t of gone down the road of Vegas parties, drugs, drinking and promiscuity. He used be to 100% against that kind of lifestyle. He seemed really sad and lost. He looks healthier now and in a better place. He doesn’t want to fight, never has, he just wants the payday. I don’t blame him.

@@Marfmellow88 Nick has a difficult personality, you can tell he wasnt happy during fighting era and was completely lost during LV times when he really pushed himself into dark place. Now he looks great, maybe its the age too. Many ppl I have known were like that and if they survived all the bad sht (many of them didnt),somehow later around 40s they settled down. Time something changed in them. I pray to god that is the Nicks pattern too.

@@martinasrna1108 totally! His personality is a result of his childhood and not having a father around and a mother who worked a lot.
