What did y’all think getting naked in a cage for millions to watch and fighting to the brink of death is all roses 🌹? And on top of that not get paid near as much as other professional athletes. Having to spend part of your earnings to pay for your own coaches and nutritionist. Spending even more time practicing/ training than other professional sports because you don’t want to get the living shit beat out of you. Then potentially lose your job after losing 3-4 fights and now you have cte that will continue to get worse over the years. But I’m addicted to this sport lol even though I just named off all of the worst shit

This guy, I ABSOLUTELY HAD NO IDEA how great, real, amazing, funny and so much more he is. No idea! I could listen to him all day. Honestly, Nick Diaz, why don't you start your own KZbin Show that talks about fighting and analyses fighters from your perspective, and you can also do a YT Chanel that teaches people the correct fighting stances and techniques, and you can also talk about nutrition, what you do in terms of triathlons etc. People would tune in. Good luck Nick, I have become your fan immediately.

Theodore Nugent you never heard him talk sense? Nick has such a high MMA IQ it's ridiculous. these guys didn't grow up wealthy and weren't your average middle class kids.. if you listen to him talk he's really reasonable and smart. the fact that they used fighting to get ahead in life proves a lot. these guys are Cinderella men, warriors. they've had my respect since they came on the scene. they can give two fucks about the media, spotlight, or riches. they come to fight, win or lose. lots of ppl think they are idiots but in all honesty those ppl don't know wtf they are talking about

That was a great interview even though Nick carried it from start to finish. The best thing they did was to let him talk.

I hope he get to be in his brother corner for the Jorge masvidal fight. Made me sad when he explained how he was seeing things that would help his brother won the fight.

Late comment but I love this kid staying off the streets was the best thing he's ever done, training is for warrior's and Nick has stepped into those shoes. Stay healthy little brother {California Homeboy} keep on the grind.

Thing is the Diaz brothers play by their own rules. They have a strict training schedule and aren’t going to drop everything to travel to talk to Rogan.

im rewatching this, and I've been a theo fan for about a year now and I remember this is the first time I've seen the rat king. and then I saw a thumbnail of his this is not happening bit and I only clicked it because I remember his face as being the guy so mesmerized by nick's presence as I would if i was there on opie. clicked his bit on this is not happening. looked up his podcast and appearances on the joey diaz podcast and his sets. a year later full blown gang gang loving everyone on the comment section and seeing his journey and rise. it's been a great series of good things because of starting out watching ufc 2015 then jre, trying and then getting hooked to martial arts, knowing about joe's comedian friends, martial artists, and also exploring psychedelics as joey diaz and Duncan trussell.
