This is a very hard fight for both of them. Alex can stop the takedown, thats no problem. The problem with dc is that puts pressure against people. Alex can handle the wrestling. Dc's problem with alex is that as i said, he can stop the takedowns, and is better on the feet then cormier. Alex is prepared, he trained eleven rounds, seven minute rounds against wrestlers for this fight.

I don't get why some people are so upset about Gus' title shot, it's not like the first time anyone gets a title shot coming off a loss. DW even promised him a rematch after the Jones fight, but he got injured during training, so isn't it only fair that he gets the shot now? Plus, who else are viable options? Bader? Maybe, but that's when the business aspect of the organization comes to play. Gus is more exciting, and that potential rematch with JBJ probably weighs in the decision as well.

I really do like Gus, but there is zero doubt he is overrated as fuck. His biggest win was over a washed-up, negative UFC W/L Shogun on his career's last legs. IIRC he has not defeated anyone else in the top 5. He put up a great fight against Jones, but just crumpled against AJ. It makes sense to give him a shot because he has a following, but I think it's more due to how shallow LHW is at the moment. Plus, despite how much of a shithead person Jones is, there is always going to be a feeling of these contenders fighting over a paper belt.
