I love Connor but he hasen't touched GSP's numbers yet. GSP sold over 900k ppvs atleast 3 times (Diaz, Penn, Alves) Connor has never hit 900k buys yet. GSP also sold 65,000 tickets vs Sheilds and UFC 129 did 12 million at the gate. By the time he was Connors age he was a 2 time real champion, tbh it's not even close.

Those so called "credible sources" can only get so many numbers from various places(mainly from the companies that air PPV) and make an estimate. Fights are bought on KZbin, FightPass, PPV and various other places. It probally did over 1M buys.

All that shenanigans we saw this weekend was simply to promote potential future fights (i.e. cerrone, RDA, rematch with chad etc) and simply just get butts in seats and watch.
