***** what you should try and understand is that anyone in the public eye wether actor, musician, politician or fighter. is first a person ap[plying thier trade and second a performer the two are interchangeable and often the line is obscure. mcgregor has been shot to stardom in a short time frame he will settle down but right now he is ridning a monumental wave of euphoric fame! underneath the swag and the posture is a man who is full of heart and full of salt! if you cannot recognise this dont worry your a product of the media generation and in time you will learn to distinguish reality ;)

Man, I have come to love this guy. His mentality, his approach to life, his work ethic, his brashness, his intelligence. He's the reason I'm into UFC now. I'm a hugeeee boxing fan and huge mayweather fan and this guy reminded me of Floyd instantly. Their obsession to be the best and how they don't care about anything else, it's attracting. Makes you wanna tune in more and more. Mcgregor has it all man, he's special. And this interview is pure gold, a peak into his mind, golden. Dec 12th can't come any sooner, I tell you.

Just everything about it man. People say 'Oh, Mendes repeatedly took him down' but look at his great takedown defence and how he controls the situation on the floor with repeat elbows. People say 'Oh, Mendes gassed' but forget how Conor was the one who gassed him by constantly hitting him in the stomach with his whole arsenal (like Oliveira did recently to Poirier). People say 'Oh, Chad fought Conor on only two weeks notice' but forget that Conor was also fighting a different opponent on 2 weeks notice and was doing so while managing an ACL injury that happened during training for Chad meanwhile Jose pulled from the contest with a bruised rib. People say 'Oh, looking back Chad gave Conor the hardest time' and while that's true compared to Conor's other fights, people ignore how the entire time no matter what, Conor is talking to him, smiling, having a great time.

McGregor in his prime was the absolute poster boy for the power of the law of attraction and the power of the subconscious through faith of conviction. He'd trained himself to absolutely refuse to give any credit or belief in the idea that Jose would beat him, even when pushed by the interviewer. And look how he was able to carry that conviction.

If I never saw an interview with McGregor I would hate the guy, but after getting to hear him talk about his life and his philosophy I've really come to like what this guy is all about. There's so much more to him than a guy like Mayweather. Nobody wants to root for Mayweather, but this guy's got a presence and charisma that few others have.

This is honestly one of the best interviews in any sport. Connor is confident here but also vulnerable to how success is a double edged sword. His admittance to not loving the media obligations, the scheduling but his obsession with MMA that allows him to give back to his family and enjoy his life after hard work. It is more than a fighter sitting down and saying the usual talking points it’s a very insightful interview I’ve watched it over 100 times and still find myself seeing new ways he answers a question or expresses himself and his mindset. Amazing

I understand why he doesnt like "interim " because he is right he showed up, he fought and he won. He is the current champ. Just like when Cruz was out, barao was the champion, he won it and he defend it in Cruz absence. When mcgregor beats Aldo, mcgregor will be the unified ufc featherweight champion. I like the mindset he has as far as not having losing in his mind. He stays positive and that's the attitude and mindset you need to have in everything.
