Man, I love your impressions! My impression->guess was that Paddy didn't lie, but was bullshitting. Also, IIRC, Gordon didn't contradict himself with the dates, he clarified how it didn't make sense in his timeline. He also talked about the time he saw Paddy at Renzo's..no denial of that in the slightest, he gave a pretty explicit description of merely catching eyes with Paddy and not being in the same place as him again until this week. Paddy also seemed almost ready to acknowledge that he might be misremembering or something, but the pushback intensity escalated, challenging his character, and that glimmer of openness quickly disappeared.
