If more fans payed attention to the MMA landscape to understand why Gaethje took this fight, the fans that are acting like this messed up any title shots you're making yourselves look like idiots, Islam had a small injury before Ramadan so a title fight wasn't going to happen before UFC 300, look back in the news and you would see all this info the fans against the BMF fight just being dumb at this point. Islam even said he was offered a fight for UFC 300 against Leon Edwards the problem was is the date of UFC 300 was too close to UFC 300 for a reasonable fight camp so Islam asked if they could move the date SMH, now sit down and stop talking. Also, for Ilia Topuria, Max said it best Volkanovski deserves to not be skipped so Max took this fight instead of waiting for God knows when.
