Aspinall wouldn't be there to take those weapons. Jones isn't fast enough. Aspinall is faster, stronger, heavier, and has all the technical skills that Jones can bring. So the only edge Jones has is his experience, and I just don't think that'll be enough. Honestly, I'd be surprised if Jones made it out of the 1st round against Aspinall, but I could be wrong. I can't wait to see it!! I'd love peirera vs. Aspinall as well as Jones. In my personal opinion, though right now in combat sport, Aspinall is the badest man walking planet Earth, and he deserves his shot at building a legacy. He's earned it like those before him.

I think the biggest problem for Jon vs Tom is not getting caught for 5 whole rounds. Tom KO'd Pavlovich with a shot that didn't even connect cleanly, he only needs one half decent punch it seems. That combined with his size, physicality, speed, durability, skill on the ground...it looks more like Jon is the only guy in the UFC (at least in the UFC) who could have the tools to solve that puzzle, not the other way round.
