Keep up the good work gents. I NEED the nuance and details that you don’t get from other mainstream podcasts etc. TNT / ESPN stuff is over produced and superficial. ❤

Asakura will need to be very disciplined. Watching his Rizin highlights he uses a lot of kicks and knees on grounded opponents (which is ok there) Be a damn shame if he gets disqualified.

Strange analysis from Nick on Garry and Shavkat on the Neal fights, it's like what someone would say if they only saw the results. I don't recall Ian "struggling" with Neal, he won a fairly uneventful bit clear decision - but I don't think he was ever in any bother, as he fought smart. Whereas Neal actually cracked Shavkat a number of times before Shavkat did what he does and got a late finish. So in terms of their striking exchanges, I'd say Ian did much better against Neal than Shavkat did. On a related note, i wouldn't agree with Nick that Shavkat wins a kickboxing match. That's really underplaying Ians striking IQ, and the fact that Shavkat's striking defence isn't the best and he's shown he can be hit

@ yeah to be honest this show was off seems Nick Peet getting a big head, he kept saying Colby fighting in Miami it’s Tampa lol just say Florida if you don’t know. Idk just think if this your whole job you should know your stuff before jumping on live. Just a bad look today with saying Pantoja who Nick Peet can’t even pronounce the Ja at end of his last name either. lol 3 fumbles

Also Pantoja has had a lot of close fights and has never been incredibly impressive imo. Definitely a world class fighter but he looks gassed in the 3rd round of every fight, spams takedowns and often looks like he's surviving. I agree with what Nick said. Pantoja looks very much human everytime he gets in there.

Nick has said pantoja right a few times, he always stops and corrects himself back to his wonky pronounciation. Same with Jose Aldo. Portuguese has a hard J, spanish has a soft J. Very easy. Not pantoya and hosé, say them like they were english words.

Disagree entirely about Anthony smith. The guy is an emotional trainwreck not helped by the fact a close trainer of his has just passed away. Hes also not calm and cool about losing, probably still lowkey holding out hopes on being a champion but cannot see his own shortcomings. Hes looked slow and lethargic for a few years now. Anyone with an ounce of hunger / ability should wreck smith at this point in his career. Not trying to sound horrible

9:30 BULLSHIT the UFC does not have its champions fight the best available contender every time...Sean O'Malley fought Chito Vera for his first title defence? Like Leon Edwards fighting Colby Convington for his second title defence? Like Jon Jones fighting Stipe "0 wins over anyone on the roster" Miocic.
