That is very true. They way UFC is set up makes it very easy. You get to train to defend yourself against how your opponent fights, and you get hints and advice during and in between rounds... I think that’s kinda bullshit they should just fight each other straight up without cornermen telling you what to look out for and how to win. The fighters should have to do do that on their own I mean they are the best in the world right? The cornermen should only be their to make sure their guy is ok not tell him how to beat his opponent that’s basically cheating and kinda ruins the whole idea of what a fight is... And I always thought they trained for their own way of fighting. I didn’t know until a few months ago that they trained for their opponent’s fighting style. That makes it a hell of a lot easier when you get to learn your opponents tendencies. It should be more freestyle like a pickup game of basketball or a street fight. Cause in those situations, you don’t have people giving you clues on how to win and you don’t train for you opponents abilities. Cause those situations are (usually) random and unplanned you just go out there and do your best without any help.
