I thought Grasso won 2nd & 3rd rounds. Takedowns are given a bigger score than strikes, and Esparza had top control but Grasso was more active even from the bottom while Esparza spent most of the top time just trying to keep her down without much striking or trying to improve position.

She beat Esparza's ass and it wasn't remotely as close as pandering UFC commentators tend to play after these scandalous decisions. Whoever the UFC used to judge Mexico (I think it's in house when international) needs to be fired from judging fights ever again. This was 1 of many terrible decisions made when scoring the fights in Mexico. Moreno also got robbed of a win because terrible judging. Good on Alexa keeping her chin up, glad she knows she won that

Carla clearly won rounds 1 & 2 and I like Grasso but she didn't win. Grasso had her hurt more often because she's the better striker, but she got totally out-grappled for the entire fight and got pinned down and beat up for most of the fight. I think Grasso won round 3 but she didn't capitalize on her opportunities to finish and as a result she lost. It was the right decision.
