thats why there is 5rounds in the championship bouts. 1-2round is for the explosive fighters, 2-4 is for the technical defensive fighters. and 5 is for the conditioned tactical point maker /opportunist finisher/slow starter. so you either need to be extremely good in your own pace while avoiding to get caught in the other persons pace. i love Claudia from the show, and hate Joanna from her interactions with Claudia, however as a trainer in TUF, Joanna was decent, and she cared about her fighters. Joanna took the storm of Claudia and avoided getting taken into the pace, then took over and set the pace. thats it.

Honestly, I like both Claudia and Joanna. They acted the way they did because they are rivals! They hated on each other all season, but what do you expect? This isn't a silly fight, this was a big deal and they both wanyed to win and they both needed to have the sort of mentality and attitude of "I'm going to win, I'm better than her, etc." I love watching both women fight, they are both amazing fighters and they aren't "bad people". You all are picking sides and cursing out one or the other, but it doesnt have to be like that. Just get over it.

They do it in such a way where you're not completely 100% positive if they're trying to be offensive or not. Lol...example: " Hi Claudia, you fought well in rounds 1 and 2, but in the 3rd round you seemed to struggle with your stamina. Do you think Joanna trains harder than you do or what do you think the reason might be for why her cardio is considered to be leaps and bounds above yours and other female fighters in the division?" It sucks because that's exactly how Claudia was taking it instead of really taking in the questions and analyzing her performance from an outsiders (interviewers) perspective, you know, taking something useful from this fight, which I feel is the purpose of the post-fight interviews among other things, she closed up and wasn't allowing this vital information to sink in. To be honest I think Joanna psychologically set her up like that with all the altercations leading up to the fight. So, Gooooo Zhang! because Joanna was getting to me.
