Is it just me or have we seen 3 fighters called Nurmagomedov completely gas out on consecutive cards, Usman being the only one to win and that after cheating and taking 5 minutes after 4th round head clash when completely gassed.

Well I mean in Umar’s case it was an impossible task vs merab. And Said I think has never had great cardio, plus he had a layoff that may have affected him

@ point being for all the supposed Dagestani dominance Khabib and Islam are different. Umar was gassed after 2, O’Malley probably had his best round in 5. They look good when dominating but struggle under pressure.

@@jakenicholls9914 I understand what you’re saying, I don’t think they’re invincible by any means but merab makes everyone tired. O’Malley was gassed too he just happened to hurt merab a bit that round. Said throws a bunch of acrobatic kicks which seems to work against him later in the fight. Reminds me of Giga chikadze.

Izzys hands were under him, belly down, after getting dropped off his feet from a punch to the jaw, then another clean shot while he was semi conscious on the fence from falling back. If anything the stoppage was late to give the false impression izzy was still moving. We see it all the time, people getting punched awake. Not that it matters though, he wasnt defending himself from the first punch on the feet. Your face on the matt, hands on the floor, laying flat isn't defense.
